In partnership with Brighton Festival, Fabrica presents A series of works by the Syrian born, US-based architect and artist Mohamad Hafez , shown for the first time in the UK. These Intricate dioramas of streetscapes and rooms of Damascus reflect on the devastation of the city during the Syrian war.
Strongly nostalgic and politically charged they capture the magnitude of the devastation and poignantly expose the fragility of human life.
